"The Escape" is the title of the first single and video from bob K's new album "Noir/Blanc". The album is scheduled for release in April 2012, during the band's tour in South America.

Just before Christmas, bob K was filmed for two music-videos, for the songs "The Escape" and "Bird" (working title) from the coming album, which will be released in April 2012.

The plan is to release "The Escape" first as single and video.

The band continues its anthemic rock-style. This time also a bit influenced by bob K anno 2000 with electronic elements.

Last album "Fragile" was released in 2010 and re-released worldwide in January 2011.

Safemode is ready to hit the road again on Monday (October 17:th 2011)!

This time the band will tour Europe together with Showbread (US) and The Spirit That Guides Us (NL).

Lead singer Tjet will play guitar (and of course sing as well) on this tour, instead of Juuso Savolainen, who recently left the band.

bob K's album "Fragile" got a worldwide re-release in January 2011, which resulted in several reviews, interviews, and radio in Europe, the USA, and South America.

The band also released a new 2-track single: Coma (album version) + Coma (remixed version).

bob K-guitarist Jono joins David Castañeda's band as bass-player.

David released his debut solo album last year (2010), which Jono also partipated as executive producer, songwriter and musician.

Back in 2002 David played bass for bob K, so we guess this is Jono's way of paying back. ;)

bob K will release a new single from the album "Fragile" on January 21:st.

The song is "Coma" and there will also be a remix of the song on the single.

Fragile will be re-released worldwide the same date.

Sound Pollution will re-release the albums "Fragile" by bob K, and "For a better tomorrow" by Safemode, January 21:st 2011 worldwide.

Both bands got signed for this distribution-deal in late 2010, and also got a lot of promotion in Europe, Japan, Canada and USA.

bob K is now back from Lithuania. They performed a light-gig Friday November 26:th in Bix Rock Club in Vilnius based on acoustic guitars, bass, percussion and glockenspiel.

Saturday night bob K headlined Sielos Festival in Utena, with among 50 other bands.

For the first time the band performed some new songs, that will be released during 2011.

bob K is currently working on a new production with American producer David Larring (Hollywood). Totally 12 new songs are recorded for a new CD.

No date is set for the release, but the rumors says something will be ready Spring 2011...

Safemode's release concert in Uppsala, August 8:th, is the first concert of the coming "For A Better Tomorrow Tour".
